An excellent option for those who need to quickly solder something, change a connector, strip a wire, or solder a plug. In short, it's a purely household item. It heats up to the required temperature very quickly (less than a minute). The battery life is sufficient for me personally - I've never run out of battery during use at 0, so I can't say how long it lasts on a single charge. The included soldering tips are quite good.
