Boy was it worth the wait. I have been using an old chunk of styrofoam for this job. I’ve stuck so many toothpicks and “corny dog” sticks with clips to hold small model car parts for airbrush painting in it, that it’s about to fall apart. This little gadget works great. It’s simply a small metal box with a dozen cushioned alligator clips on a flexible wire with a magnet base. They stand up just fine on the work desk and really hang on tight when parked on the metal box top. When finished with the painting (or whatever task being performed) the holder clips are stowed away inside the box.
I’ve been building and painting models for most of my life and honestly wish I had found this set years ago. Up until now, I had been using the classic gator clips on skewers stuck into foam blocks — it worked, but it was always a bit clunky, unstable, and took up more space than I liked. This system is a total game changer. The magnetic base keeps everything stable and organized, the bendable alligator clip sticks allow for perfect positioning, and the entire setup is much cleaner, neater, and easier to work with. It’s made my painting process far more efficient and enjoyable, especially when dealing with multiple small parts. If you do any kind of model painting or assembly, do yourself a favor and pick this up. I can’t believe I didn’t switch to something like this sooner. Highly recommended!
This is a perfect tool for any hobbyist or artist. the magnets are pretty strong enough to hold any plastic or even metal piece. the grip of the plier is great, and remember you can combine multiple to get a complicated piece in place. , I like to cover the base with a piece of paper to avoid any paint on it, and the magnets do not lose any strength, I have 0 complains, it does deliver what was promised. 5 stars.
These things are great! They aren't too long or short, just the right length, the magnets in them are very strong, the alligator clips are great and they come with removable rubber guards so you can have them clamp with the soft rubber or the metal teeth. The shaft of the sticks is flexible but very sturdy so they won't easily bend under the weight of what they are holding. The case they come in is also magnetic so it's a perfect base to attach them to. Honestly, I'm probably gonna order another set or two of these.
As of right now, I am letting a model dry while having the alligator clips hold on to the parts, and as far as I've gotten, this is extremely useful. I have used it for practice on a Gundam kit, and it makes things much easier. I like how you can take the rubber off of the clips, and how they can bend a large amount, and also come in a fancy sliding box TLDR; High quality, pretty efficient, pretty high grip strength, might mess with dry applied paints/weathering.
These clips are cleverly packaged—a neat compact solution to keep small items in place while you are painting or gluing them. The box has a slide-off cover and the little magnetic flagpoles are held securely on the box itself, taking up a very small footprint. The clips themselves are sturdy enough to hold all pieces.
It was very affordable, came in great condition, I didn’t have to wait long. The tips come off so if it seems too bulky just take one or both off. It’s very bendable and thick enough.They have a strong grip so I’m not too worried about my parts popping out. It’s also perfect to take on the go! Durable and strong! Very strong magnet! It’s just great. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this kit! Overall definitely worth the money!
This is a very handy item for painting or gluing miniature items. The magnets hold well and the clamps are covered to prevent damage to the item being worked on. The number of clamps included allow for working on several items at once. When not in use the base is a storage box for the magnetic clamps. I highly recommend this product.

Does exactly as advertised. I’m able to paint multiple sub assemblies and not worry about parts falling off and being eaten by floor goblins, additionally with numbered teeth guard I don’t have to worry about damaging detail when I don’t have a hidden spot to clamp onto.
