It’s very well made and it works but it is taking me some time to get used to it. It 100% makes it easier to paint fine detail because it really does steady your hand. Just give it some time.

I have 72 year old shaking hands. I was able to get no shaking working on 1/72 scale aircraft model!
As an artist that uses detail, any tremor can cause a bad mistake with watercolors. I had to figure out how to hold the rod , but found if I put it through my fourth and pinky finger I can hold a brush.. it helped me quite a bit.

Not yet used in anger, however I’m looking forward to using it. In the past, when painting fine detail, for stability, I’d lock my arms in a triangle at the wrists, which can limit mobility. As I said, I’ve not used it yet, but can appreciate how it will help in the future
